Recently, JT Septic had the pleasure of hosting Lonnie Welch from Clearstream Wastewater Systems. Lonnie worked with us to create different bite-sized videos covering an overview of Clearstream Wastewater Systems as well as all about the control panel, do’s and don’ts, and finally how to maintain the system correctly and responsibly. JT Septic is invested in educating our customers, and that’s why we created this playlist for all of you.
OVERVIEW
The overview goes into detail explaining the three different parts of the wastewater system: #1 pretreatment tank, #2 the aerobic chamber, and #3 the pump station. Lonnie explains how the system works and how it is similar as well as different from a conventional septic tank. Did you know there are three different options for wastewater disbursement with a Clearstream Wastewater System? Check out the first video of the series above!
CONTROL PANEL
The panel is important as it controls the wastewater treatment system. Make sure to have the contact information of your septic maintenance provider or installer of the system! If or when the lights on top of the control panel go off, you can promptly call your trusted local septic company and give them details as to what the light is indicating.
DO’S AND DON’TS
DON’T miss this video of the series! Find out what items you should never put in your septic system, what liquids shouldn’t go down the drain, and how excessive amounts of water usage can affect the Clearstream Wastewater System.
DO take care of your Clearstream Wastewater System! By taking care of what you put down the drain as well as spacing out your water usage, your system will last for years!
MAINTENANCE
Intimidated by septic maintenance? Don’t be. Lonnie Welch explains the different types of maintenance required, breaks down the vocabulary associated with the system, and demonstrates the necessary tasks to keep your complex onsite wastewater treatment plant running smoothly.
With this introduction to different elements of the Clearstream Wastewater System, we hope you feel more confident either purchasing or maintaining your already installed aerobic system.
